  The last four dogs me and my husband have had have gone to Lakeside. I always felt as if they only enjoyed my dogs as puppy's they never paid much attention as they got older no thank you cards, and no calls after appointments. Within this last two years I have paid over 4000 for both my dogs. One was a puppy and quickly after paying for first shots had to have surgery after swallowing a t bone, the second was a three year old golden who we paid 2,500 for knee surgery and then had a terrible skin condition after swimming in a lake. This doesn't include the normal check ups. This evening however my dog had a allergic reaction not a little one either, both of her eyes were swollen shut and her face was swollen she had a rash all over her body, and her tongue was dry and swollen too. We dont know if it a snakebite or to a new flea medicine we tried don't know. So I gave her three Benadryl and washed her fur then decided to call their after hours number at 9:04 she answered and proceeded to say it was after nine so she wasn't going to be come in I live five minutes from this vet however after evening I will be pulling both my dogs records and looking for a new vet. They aren't true animal lovers.
